Blade-Tech has committed to supply more than $7,000 in holsters and holsterwear to students competing in Scholastic Steel Challenge events. For their opening move, every centerfire shooter attending the SSC Collegiate nationals March 10-11 at Fort Benning, GA will receive a Blade-Tech holster kit free of charge.
“We’ve got to engage the next generation,” says Blade-Tech’s Ryan Preece. “We want to push SSC forward however we can, through our social media, through direct assistance. . .”
Shooters attending the Fort Benning match will be supplied with the Blade-Tech “Revolution Pistol Pack” which includes a holster, mag pouch, and plastic training barrel that allows for safe dry-fire practice. Blade-Tech emphasizes that they intend to provide similar support to high-profile SSC events across the country – a retail value of more than $10,000 for 2013 alone.
Watch the SSC websites going forward for explanatory video about how to safely set up Blade-Tech holsters.
