Vanguard Joins the Fight to Help Owen Pointer and the Little Warriors Fundraiser

Vanguard USA, global leader in sporting optics, shooting accessories, and photo-video accessories since 1986, has joined the fight to help Owen Pointer. Owen was born on October 17, 2011 with a severe heart defect and within minutes of life required to immediately flown down to the U of M Mott Children’s Hospital via U of M Survival flight crew helicopters. Owen spent the better part of the first fourteen months of his life in the hospital causing him to undergo five open heart surgeries, three stomach surgeries, many trips to the Cath lab, and finally undergoing a heart transplant.
To help Owen and his family, Vanguard has donated a binoculars package featuring a pair of its Spirit XF 10 x 42 binoculars and a pair of its flagship Endeavor ED 10 X 45 binoculars. The package will be auctioned off at a benefit on March 24, 2012. All funds raised will go toward Owen’s medical expenses.
