TenPoint Secures Patent on Crossbow Unloading Bolt

The U.S. Patent Office has issue Patent # 8,376,882 to crossbow technology leader, TenPoint Crossbow Technologies, for its innovative Crossbow Unloading Bolt, or CUB. The CUB patent is TenPoint’s 27^th.

At about one-sixth the cost of a crossbow arrow, the single-use CUB provides a cost effective way to unload your crossbow in the field without having to chance ruining a perfectly good arrow. Made from PolyLactic Acid (PLA), this biodegradable bolt minimizes environmental impact by naturally decomposing over time. Easy to carry in a fanny pack, its innovative snap together, two-piece design occupies about the same space as two ballpoint pens.

The CUB is available in a convenient 6-pack and retails for $8.
