Remington Arms Confirms Support of NSSF First Shots Seminars

The National Shooting Sports Foundation® (NSSF) has received a commitment from Remington Arms Co. for its continued support of First Shots, which has helped ranges across the country introduce thousands of individuals to firearm safety and the shooting sports. Developed by NSSF and hosted by independent shooting facilities, the program provides participants with a comprehensive introduction to shooting by qualified range operators and instructors that includes firearm safety and responsibility, local ownership requirements, shooting fundamentals, hands-on instruction and guidance on how and where to continue. Remington Arms Co., as the supplier of .22 ammunition for rifles and handguns, has been an industry partner of the First Shots program since its inception in 2005.
“Remington is committed to ensuring First Shots participants will have the ammunition needed to take their First Shots,” said Tisma Juett, NSSF manager, First Shots. “In light of the tremendous demand for ammunition, this commitment will reassure ranges that they will be able to successfully host First Shots events.”
