Fly Fishing Comes to WFN April 23

WFN: World Fishing Network, the leading entertainment destination and digital resource for anglers throughout North America, presents Fly Fishing Fever, a six-hour programming marathon dedicated to fly fishing starting Tuesday, April 23 at 6 p.m. ET.
“Whether a viewer loves the sport of fly fishing or just wants to learn more, there will be no better place to be than watching World Fishing Network on the 23rd,” said Pam Stinson, Senior Director of Marketing for WFN. “The programming lineup that we’ve selected for Fly Fishing Fever offers something for both the casual and hardcore fly fisher, filmed in some spectacular locations across North America, Costa Rica and the British Isles.”
American Fly Guide leads off the marathon at 6 p.m. ET (see listing below for the complete Fly Fishing Fever schedule) with host Craig Mathews followed by Italo Labignan and the Canadian Sportfishing team casting for Atlantic salmon. Then in the heart of Central America, five trout fisherman launch on a journey that most said couldn’t be done. One country, two oceans, three species, 430 kilometers and 36 hours to complete the Costa Rica Challenge. Next up is Sport Fishing on the Fly from Roche Lake, British Columbia and fly fishing prodigy Hunter Hoffler shows off some tips and tricks that everyone can use on In the Loop.
Fly Fishing Fever continues with episodes of Fly Nation, The New Fly Fisher and Game Fisher’s Diary. Orvis Guide to Fly Fishing with expert host Tom Rosenbauer precedes another educational episode of The New Fly Fisher featuring the team on the water in pursuit of brook trout. Later, Don Freschi goes Sport Fishing on the Fly once again to close the marathon.
