Acme Kastmaster is the Hot Ticket for Saltwater Gamefish

The same qualities that make the Acme Kastmaster one of the world’s most popular metal lures in freshwater lakes and rivers make it a deadly tool for inshore and offshore anglers chasing striped bass, slammer blues, bonito, albacore, and other inshore and saltwater predators.

Acme offers saltwater versions of this famous slab-sided spoon in 2-, 3- and 4-oz. sizes, with special finishes and hook configurations for inshore and offshore fishing. Like all Acme Kastmaster spoons, these lures are designed to cast like a bullet, sink quickly into the “strike zone” and swim with an enticing, erratic action over a wide range of retrieve speeds. This versatile lure can also be vertically jigged over reefs and other mid-depth structure, triggering smashing strikes as the spoon flutters on the fall with a “wounded baitfish” action.

The fast-sinking properties of these large Kastmasters — combined with their ability to swim effectively at even the quickest retrieve speeds — make these spoons perfect for West Coast “yo-yo” techniques used to target deep-holding yellowtail or tuna. Their fish-attracting action and live baitfish patterns also make these Kastmasters perfect to fish “on the slide” after a school of albacore or bluefin tuna grabs the trolling jigs.

Acme’s 2-, 3- and 4-oz. Kastmaster spoons are available in Chrome, Chrome/Blue, Blue Mackerel and Green Mackerel. Both the Blue Mackerel and Green Mackerel patterns feature quality baked-on painted finishes on one side, with a jewel-quality chrome plated finish on the reverse. Each is offered with a choice of a heavy-duty plain treble hook or a single hook with premium quality bucktail. The single bucktail hook is a great option when saltwater anglers want to add extra action and enticement to the lure or when fish prefer a larger overall target. Precision machined
and featuring a sturdy stainless steel split ring, these Acme Kastmasters will keep catching saltwater fish, season after season.
