Wingshooting USA Fans Help Build Cabela’s “Road Trip” Rig & Itinerary

Cabela’s has signed on as lead sponsor of the 4th annual Wingshooting USA TV “Awesome Upland Road Trip.” Producer/host Scott Linden and his television crew will travel fromBend,Ore. at least as far asSebree,Kentucky’s Deer Creek Lodge, producing episodes of the TV series and appearing at a number of other events.

“This year, we’ve added viewer interaction to the outfitting and routing,”Lindensaid. “Fans can help customize a new Tiger Adventure Vehicle RV from the ground up, as well as the Titan UTV and Alum-Line trailer we’ll take along.” Making sureLinden’s dogs Manny and Buddy are comfortably outfitted is also part of the process, he said, with viewers encouraged to shop the Cabela’s dog gear selection and make their recommendations.

A Facebook page has been set up to take suggestions, with prizes going to viewers at each step of the customization process. Grand prizes include $500 of Cabela’s dog gear, a “test drive” of the Tiger and hunt withLinden, and a Webley & Scott shotgun.

Fans are also asked to recommend “fun hunts,” meet-and-greet locations and Cabela’s stores Lindenwill visit to display the finished vehicles. Already on the itinerary is the Kansas Governor’s Ringneck Classic whereLinden will be the keynote speaker. He will also lead an in-field seminar at Ravenwood Lodge nearTopeka.
