Two White-tailed Deer Poached Behind Great Falls Church in Montana

State game wardens are seeking help in find who illegally shot a pair of white-tailed deer on two separate Sundays recently behind a Great Falls church.

A whitetail buck was discovered dead April 14 just behind Valley View Community Bible Church, 3400 Flood Road. The church sits less than a mile south of the Marketplace Mall on the southwest side of Great Falls.

A week later, April 21, someone killed a whitetail doe in the same location.

The is the second time in a month deer have been poached on the edge of Great Falls.

On March 19 two whitetails were discovered in a field near Highland Cemetery south of town. Both animals had been shot with a rifle.

Anyone with information about either incident is urged to call 1-800-TIPMONT.

Rewards are available through the TIPMONT program and informants are kept confidential.
