Magpul Named Title Sponsor of 3GN Pro Series Events in Oklahoma

As the 3-Gun season heats up this spring, so does the FNH USA 3-Gun Nation Pro Series Tour, presented by Federal Premium. With the first match complete (held at the Peacemaker National Training Center in Glengary, WV and sponsored by SureFire), the 3-Gun Nation Pro Series shooters are ramping up for the next event held May 18th at the USSA Shooting Academy in Tulsa, OK. Two matches in a row will be featured at the Tulsa shooting complex, with the second one to be held June 22nd, both now sponsored by Magpul.
At stake—$10,000 in cash prizes at each event with a $5,000 cash prize to the first place winners. $3,000 will be given to 2nd place and $2,000 to 3rd place respectively, all sponsored by Magpul. Both events will be filmed for the “3-Gun Nation” television program which begins airing this summer on the Sportsman Channel as well as the Pursuit Network. Magpul will also be the Closed Captioning sponsor of the TV program.

After one event of four, United States Army Marksmanship pro shooter Daniel Horner leads the pack with a winning performance in West Virginia, taking home first place and $5,000 Cash sponsored by SureFire. Following him in second place overall is Keith Garcia, while 3rd place belongs to 3GN Pro Adam Popplewell. However, the field is loaded with championship-caliber shooters and only time will tell who will rise to the top at the upcoming event in Tulsa.
“It’s amazing to go down the list of shooters participating in this year’s tour,” said Chad Adams, 3-Gun Nation Vice President. “You have the who’s who in the sport all battling for that top spot.”
As the tour progresses, each competitor is not only going for match wins, but they are also gathering points to secure a spot in the 3-Gun Nation Championship event held January, 2014, where one competitor will win the $50,000 Grand prize sponsored by Leupold Tactical Optics and NRA Sports.
