Taurus Sponsors 2013 IDPA U.S. National Championship in Oklahoma

The International Defensive Pistol Association (IDPA) announced that Taurus, one of the world’s foremost manufacturers of firearms and spearhead of the Carry On movement to promote the concealed carry lifestyle, will be a major sponsor of the 2013 IDPA U.S. National Championship.
“Taurus is once again demonstrating its steadfast commitment to the shooting sports by generously sponsoring the 2013 IDPA U.S. National Championship. As a sport born out of the real world concealed carry movement, we’re grateful to have the support of a company that so fully embraces and promotes the concept of personal responsibility and self defense like Taurus does,” said Joyce Wilson, executive director of IDPA.

Hosted by the U.S. Shooting Academy in Tulsa, Oklahoma, the 2013 IDPA U.S. National Championship will take place September 19 thru 21 and is again expected to draw over 300 of the sport’s top shooters. Taurus joins the National Shooting Sports Foundation as a gold level sponsor of the event.
