Montana FWP Looking for Information on Grizzly Bear Shooting

On May 4^th during a monitoring flight, FWP Grizzly Bear Management Specialist Tim Manley located a collared male grizzly bear that was dragging its hind quarters. Manley landed, and euthanized the bear, which was located near Wolf Creek Drive and Highway 83, near the Swan River.

Game Warden Chuck Bartos investigated, and a necropsy determined that the bear had been shot.
