Nevada Department of Wildlife Sponsors Families Learn to Fish Clinic

The Nevada Department of Wildlife is sponsoring a Kids Learn to Fish Clinic May 25, from 8 a.m. to noon. The clinic is designed for children and is free to all participants. The class is limited to the first 20 who sign up.

WHAT: The Kids Learn to Fish Clinic is geared for entry anglers. NDOW instructors will demonstrate basic hook and line setup.

WHEN: Saturday May 25, 2013, 8 a.m. to noon

WHERE: Crystal Peak Pond in the town of Verdi

SIGN-Up: Pre registration is required online at www.ndow.org/Fish/Classes/

AGES: Children must be accompanied by an adult.

BRING: You will need your own fishing rod. If you do not have one, we can provide one. The spinning rods are limited to the first requests. Twelve and older are required to have a fishing license.
