Minn Kota Offers New Accessories for the Talon Shallow Water Anchor

Minn Kota’s new wireless foot switch gives the Talon shallow water anchor another method for hands-free operation. In addition, Minn Kota is offering new bracket options for simplified mounting and added functionality.
The wireless foot switch accessory provides independent or simultaneous control of single or dual Talons. It has an LED mode display, is waterproof, floats and features an easy-access battery compartment. The standard quick-release mounting bracket allows the foot switch to be secured in a fixed position or easily removed. The MSRP for the Talon wireless foot switch is $149.99.
Minn Kota’s new Talon Universal Modular Adapter Brackets are built with a solid, rugged design that provides for simple mounting choices and flexible adjustments. The jack plate adaptor bracket allows the Talon to be mounted directly to the port or starboard side of the outboard jack plate. With the sandwich-style adaptor brackets (available for either the port or starboard side of the boat), Talon can be mounted between the jack plate and transom, or between the outboard and transom.
The Universal Modular design allows the Talon to be adjusted and tweaked for optimal fit to virtually any boat. When low clearance is needed, the Talon Tilt Bracket accessory can be added to the adapter brackets to allow the Talon to be tilted into the boat.
The suggested retail prices for the Talon adapter brackets are: jack plate adaptor bracket $209.99, sandwich-style brackets (port or starboard) $249.99, and tilt bracket $179.99. The Talon mounting adapter brackets are guaranteed for five years.
