Jason Christie’s 16th-place finish at the Lake Chickamauga FLW Tour, along with the bonus points he’s picked up for this three tour-level wins this year, has allowed him to retain a firm grip on the No. 1 position in the newest edition of the BassFan World Rankings presented by Livingston Lures.
There was very little movement at the top of the list following the events of the past 2 weeks. The red-hot Aaron Martens made the most significant jump within the Top 20, climbing from 14th to 7th. Newly crowned FLW Tour Angler of the Year Andy Morgan gained one spot to 4th after wrapping up the title with a 5th-place finish at Chickamauga.
Tommy Biffle, winner of the Mississippi River Bassmaster Elite Series, moved up 26 places to 22nd. Rookie Casey Martin, who prevailed at Chickamauga, is up 58 positions to 191st.
The next event that will impact the rankings is the St. Lawrence River Elite Series, set for Aug. 8-11.
