Video: Gutless Field Dressing

To many hunters, one of the most important skills to learn before hunting solo or in the backcountry is how to field dress game without touching the guts.

Here’s Casey LaVere’s demonstration of a gutless field dressing, using a Havalon knife. If the blade seems scalpel-sharp in the videos, it’s because these knives can be equipped with different blades, therefore preserving the touted “crazy sharpness” of the blade without requiring sharpening.
