Bass Champs to Add Another TV Show and a New Network for 2014

Bass Champs announced that they will not only have the show everyone looks forward too on the World Fishing Network but will also add a new style show on Fox Sports Southwest starting in January, 2014, titled   “Bass Champs Tournament Report”.

The Skeeter Bass Champs Television show will continue to air new tournaments and original episodes throughout the year on The World Fishing Network.  Long time host, John McCalmont, walks viewers through winning strategies, takes interviews with winning teams and goes live on the water throughout the season of Bass Champs. Check local listings. Skeeter Bass Champs Television can be seen each Friday at 9:30am (CST) and again at 6:30pm (CST) on World Fishing Network.

“2014 will mark the 13th season of the Skeeter Bass Champs television show, making Bass Champs one of the longest running fishing shows on Television.  Our regular season show has gone so well nationally, we wanted to offer a more regional feel as well. The new show on Fox Sport Southwest allows us to reach a new market and focus on a different aspect of our tournaments” –Bass Champs President, Chad Potts.

Fox Sports Southwest will air the new Bass Champs Tournament Report” beginning in January, 2014Viewers can watch every Sunday morning at 5:30am (CST).  The show will also feature new regional sponsors including Texas Ford Dealers, Fun-n-Sun boating centers, Taylor Oil Company/Chevron, & MKs Customs, in addition to national partners including SkeeterYamahaMinn-KotaHumminbird and Progressive Insurance.   Each new sponsor will provide tips and techniques that will help anglers on and off the water.   The purpose of the show is to provide a new look for Bass Champs and focus on pre-tournament scenarios rather than results oriented information.

“For example, since we are going to be on Lake Amistad on January 11, the show on January 5th will bring in highlights from previous shows on Amistad as well as patterns to try, techniques that worked in the past, etc. It’s almost like being able to pre-fish for Bass Champs from your couch the week before the tournament!” –Potts.

Skeeter Bass Champs remains the leading team tournament trail in Texas by listening to their anglers, fans and working with sponsors to bring the best all-around experience and exposure for the weekend angler.
