Hips Archery Targets Relocates Corporate Headquarters to Canyon Lake, Texas.

The nation’s oldest operating archery target manufacturer, Hips Archery Targets, has relocated corporate headquarters to Canyon Lake, Texas from its previous base of operations in San Antonio, Texas. Manufacturing, warehousing, and distribution of all current Hips Archery Target models will be managed in partnership with Austin Foam Plastics at a separate state-of-the-art facility located in Pflugerville, Texas.

“This is another stage of our overall strategy to streamline and refocus each aspect of our business,” said Darrin Brown, owner of Hips Archery Targets. “The new headquarters in Canyon Lake gives us the room to expand and focus our sales, customer service, and new product development efforts, while allowing the facility in Pflugerville to do what it does best; efficiently and cost-effectively manufacture our industry leading Hips Archery Targets.”

Retail customers will see benefits from both the new corporate headquarters and manufacturing locations. Additional sales and customer service staff based out of the Canyon Falls office will be positioned to better serve and react to the needs of dealers and distributors nationwide. The technologically advanced manufacturing facility in Pflugerville will assure Hips has the logistical capability to manufacture and fulfill orders quickly and on time while keeping close tabs on overall inventory control.

“We’ve made a lot of positive changes in the last year and, ultimately, our customers will reap the rewards of our efforts,” said Brown. “Our vertically heat-welded foam targets are the best in the business and I’m confident our new business strategies will allow us to focus on increased sales and service efforts, efficient production and the very best product we can bring to the end-consumer.”
