Western Hunting & Conservation Expo Set to be a Sweetheart of an Event

What better way to feed your hunting passion then to join the Mule Deer Foundation and Sportsmen for Fish & Wildlife for the 2014 Western Hunting and Conservation Expo (WHCE). This year’s Expo will coincide with Valentine’s Day and it is certain to be a sweetheart of a weekend. Held from February 13-16, 2014 at the Salt Palace Convention Center in Salt Lake City, Utah, the WHCE will provide attendees with a weekend full of top-notch guides, vendors, seminars and auctions. Former Vice President Dick Cheney and his daughter Liz along with country and pop singers Kellie Pickler and Uncle Kracker are some of the celebrity headliners who will make this a weekend to remember.  Rob Keck will return as the MC for the nightly events and day auction.

Unique to the WHCE, attendees can apply for the chance to draw one of 200 premium Utah big game tags. Non-resident attendees can apply for a chance to draw one of five once-in-a-lifetime big game hunting tags.

“The 2014 Western Hunting and Conservation Expo is sure to be a can’t-miss event for any sportsman who loves to hunt in the West,” commented Miles Moretti, President of the Mule Deer Foundation. “We have coveted tags up for auction, great entertainment and some of the best vendors in the industry – what’s not to love about this weekend?”

“We increased exhibitor floor space by 20 percent over last year’s WHCE. With more than 30,000 consumers expected, we know that attendees will find something for everyone in their hunting family,” according to Sportsmen for Fish & Wildlife President, Byron Bateman.

The WHCE will have over 500 guides, outfitters and manufacturers on the show floor throughout the four-day event. Make your plans to come to Salt Lake City now!
