Safari Club International and Havalon Knives Announce Corporate Partnership
Safari Club International 01.02.14
This December, Safari Club International and Havalon Knives entered into a new corporate partnership. According to SCI President Craig Kauffman, “We are both honored and privileged to have a company like Havalon Knives support Safari Club International and our mission of furthering hunters’ rights and conservation around the globe.”
Havalon Knives is the home of the Piranta and Baracuta knives with the quick-change “crazy-sharp” blades, the sharpest knives for hunting, field dressing, skinning and filleting. Hunters, trappers, professional guides and wildlife officers have raved about these lightweight field dressing and skinning knives with the easily replaceable, surgically-sharp blades–the same blades that taxidermists have been buying from Havalon Knives for more than 25 years.
“Havalon Knives is proud to become a corporate partner with Safari Club International,” said John Barrett, Vice President of Sales & Marketing. “For more than 40 years, SCI has been a leader in the hunting industry. Their focus on protecting hunters’ rights and promoting wildlife conservation is unmatched in the industry and that is why this partnership was so important to the Havalon team. At Havalon, we are focused on creating the highest quality knives in order to help outdoorsmen and women have safe memorable hunts. The common goal of growing a safe sustainable environment for hunters around the world is a bond that should prove to make this partnership strong for many years ahead.”
