Kentucky Laborer Hunts Wisconsin Whitetail and Coons in Jan. 19 Episode of USA’s Brotherhood Outdoors, on Sportsman Channel
Union Sportsmen's Alliance 01.03.14
The Union Sportsmen’s Alliance’s national outdoor TV series, Brotherhood Outdoors, brings viewers the story of union laborer Adam McCormick, of Robards, Kentucky, as he hunts whitetail deer in Wisconsin’s famed Buffalo County and then guides the show hosts on a coon hunt back home at 11 a.m. ET, Sunday, Jan. 19 on the Sportsman Channel.
Adam can’t remember a time when he was not hunting. His dad took him squirrel hunting before he could even walk. “Since then, I have hunted just about everything there is to hunt,” said Adam, a 20-plus-year member of LIUNA Local 561, in Evansville, Indiana.
These days, Adam, who doubles as a youth archery instructor, doesn’t get to hunt as often as he would like. He spends most of his free time helping his daughters and other youth fill their hunting tags and teaching kids to properly shoot a bow as an archery coach at a local elementary school. When Brotherhood Outdoors learned about Adam’s commitment to teaching youth about hunting, conservation and carrying on the outdoor tradition with his own daughters, they awarded him the trip.
Join Brotherhood Outdoors co-hosts Daniel Lee Martin and Julie McQueen as they glass for whitetail with Adam in Wisconsin in the hopes of arrowing a trophy buck. Back at Adam’s Kentucky home, co-hosts Martin and McQueen join Adam, his daughters and a group of young girls on their very first coon hunt. You can’t be afraid of the dark for this episode!
Tune in to Brotherhood Outdoors Sunday, Jan. 19, at 11 a.m. on the Sportsman Channel.
