One Month Until the Western Hunting & Conservation Expo

There’s just a few short weeks left until the 2014 Western Hunting and Conservation Expo (WHCE) kicks off. The WHCE, sponsored by the Mule Deer Foundation, Sportsmen for Fish and Wildlife and Midway USA, opens on Thursday February 13 and runs through Sunday February 16 at the Salt Palace Convention Center in Salt Lake City, Utah. With exciting entertainment, quality seminars and the unique opportunity to apply for the chance to win premium big game tags, the WHCE is a can’t-miss event for anyone who loves to hunt in the west.

“We expanded our exhibit hall space by 20 percent and are nearly sold out,” said Miles Moretti, President of the Mule Deer Foundation.

“The WHCE is becoming the premier trade show in the west, and our attendees and exhibitor numbers continue to grow,” commented Byron Bateman, President of Sportsmen for Fish & Wildlife.

The 2014 Western Hunting and Conservation Expo has contracted country music stars Kellie Pickler and Uncle Kracker as entertainment for the event. Returning as Master of Ceremonies is Mr. Rob Keck, Director of Conservation for Bass Pro Shops and a renowned voice for conservation in the outdoors. Combined with auctions of the most sought after hunting permits in the west the evening events are ones to not be missed. Hunting celebrities like Phil Phillips, Chad Schearer, Corey Jacobsen, Mark Keyser and Marc Smith will be giving unique seminars on hunting tactics and sharing stories of the many hunts they go on each year.

A full schedule of events and details of auctions, tags, seminars and more is available at www.huntexpo.com.
