SIG SAUER Adds Rimfire Variants to P938 Series of Pistols
Sig Sauer 01.14.14
SIG SAUER now offers its popular P938 single-action 9mm pistol in .22LR, allowing for less expensive practice and increased fun as a “plinking” gun. Owners of P938 pistols will also see two conversion uppers, including a “long-slide” target version.
The P938-22 Rosewood offers all the features of its larger-caliber brothers, but chambered in the common .22LR cartridge. With a 10-round magazine, the Rosewood features SIGLITE night sights, rosewood grips and a durable Nitron finish.
Current P938 owners can purchase the conversion kit, which contains a Nitron finished slide, 3.3″ rimfire barrel and 10-round magazine. A 4.1″ “Long Slide” conversion features adjustable contrast sights and an increased sight radius.
With the popularity of the P938 as a concealed carry pistol, the P938-22 allows the operator to practice with the less expensive .22LR rimfire round, and the reduced report and recoil makes it a great option for new shooters.
