Video: The Design Behind Remington’s R51 Pistol

Few new firearms have garnered as much attention as Remington’s R51 handgun, which was showcased at this year’s SHOT Show in Las Vegas, Nevada. The R51 represents a callback to Remington’s past as well as new ambitions in the subcompact concealed carry market. If the wide coverage of the R51 on Remington’s social media properties are any indication, the company is just as excited about the new firearm as its fans.

“Introducing the most intuitive concealed carry handgun on the planet—for when it matters most,” stated Remington’s Facebook page at the R51’s unveiling. “Forged from nearly 200 years of defending the American way of life.”
