Meopta Launches MeoStar R2 Riflescope Series

Meopta introduces the R2 MeoStar riflescope series with the 1-6×24 RD, Meopta’s first riflescope with a 6X zoom ratio. The scope’s true 1X magnification, wide field of view, edge-to-edge clarity and two illuminated-reticle options (K-Dot 2 or 4C-RD) allow fast and accurate target acquisition.
This makes the scope perfect for dangerous game or whitetails in thick brush when every split-second counts. The versatile R2 is also excellent for close-quarter situations on AR platforms and much longer shots, depending on the caliber and shooter’s proficiency.
Meopta riflescopes are designed for low-light conditions, and their new MeoLux lens coating delivers industry-leading light transmission through the entire visible spectrum. This results in bright, crystal-clear images with exceptional color reproduction.
Further, the R2’s improved windage and elevation turrets quickly reset to zero and are easy to grip, even with gloves. Hydrophobic MeoDrop lens coatings ensure high clarity while repelling rain, snow, dirt and skin oils. Focal adjustments are also quick and easy thanks to Meopta’s MeoQuick fast-focus eyepiece, and external lens surfaces are protected from scratches and abrasion by MeoShield coating.
