World Fishing Network, the leading entertainment destination and digital resource for anglers throughout North America, delivers a three-hour, on-screen adventure featuring some of the most extreme fishing destinations from around the globe starting at 8 p.m. ET on Thursday, Jan. 23.
Viewers will enjoy back-to-back episodes of Wild Fish, Wild Places beginning at 8 p.m. ET followed by one-hour presentations of Rod & Rucksack at 9 p.m. ET and Wild Fisherman at 10 p.m. ET.
Wild Fish, Wild Places ventures to remote parts of South America’s Amazon River, facing challenges not only on the water, but from Mother Nature as well. Rod & Rucksack presents a completely different adventure as Guy Elson is in the wilds of Mongolia in pursuit of the enigmatic taimen, while the Wild Fisherman duo of Matt Hayes and Mick Brown tackle the challenge of fishing Mjosa – Norway’s largest and deepest lake.
Throughout 2014, World Fishing Network will showcase monthly programming marathons dedicated to a different type of angling or theme. The next programming marathon, featuring cooking-oriented shows, airs Tuesday, Feb. 11 starting at 8 p.m. ET.
