Ellett Brothers added a lot of firepower to their silent auction at their 2014 Shooting Dealer Show in Columbia, SC – a Colt Classic Remake 1877 Bulldog Gatling Gun Carriage Model. Continuing in its endeavors to cultivate and raise awareness in youth shooting sports, Ellett Brothers proudly hosts their annual silent auction to benefit the Youth Shooting Sports Alliance (YSSA). The Gatling Gun and a number of firearms and other sporting accessories also offered in the auction generated $ 67,640.
Thanks to the generous vendor donations and dealer participation, Ellett Brothers has raised over $170,000 since 2009 for the YSSA.
“The contributions and support received from the Ellett Brothers family has enabled the Youth Shooting Sports Alliance to overcome many of the limiting factors to the growth of youth shooting sports programs nationwide that are attributable to equipment and supplies. It’s an absolute pleasure to partner with such a prestigious company that shares our passion for recruiting and retaining new shooters and hunters” said Steve Miller, YSSA Executive Director.
This museum quality remake of the 1877 Bulldog Gatling Gun is fully operational and fires up to 800 rounds of .45-70 Government caliber cartridges per minute. The Gatling Gun is built to original size and features five fully brass encased direct drive barrels.
