Maryland Trophy Deer Contest Chairman Walter “Tinker” Johnson to hold Deer Mount Scoring Event at Bass Pro Shops!
Well known Maryland Trophy Deer Contest Chairman and certified measurer, Walter “Tinker” Johnson, along with fellow scorers Fred Horn and Rob Newton, will be holding a One-Day Antler Scoring event on Saturday February 22, 2014 from 10:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M. using both Boone & Crockett and Pope & Young scoring methods!

“Maryland hunting is big! And it’s one of the most common traditions passed down from generation to generation”, said Aaron Frazier General Manager of Bass Pro Shops at Arundel Mills. Frazier added: “Customers often tell us they have this mount from their Dad or Grand Dad and always wondered how to learn more about it, so we called upon one of Maryland’s premier trophy deer measurers Walter “Tinker” Johnson, who also chairs the Maryland Trophy Deer Contest, and couldn’t be more privileged to have him for nearly a full day!
