Team Benelli 3-Gun Shooters, Keith Garcia and Rob Romero recently racked up impressive wins at the first major 3-Gun Nation (3GN) Regional Championship held in Clinton, SC at the beautiful, 2,600 acre Clinton House Plantation shooting property. The Para USA 3GN Southeast Regional is one of four events of its kind that welcomed competitors with eight stages laid out over diverse terrain.
Team Benelli 2013 3GN Pro Series Champion Keith Garcia topped the shooters in Tactical Optics with 3GN Director of Competition, Rob Romero securing a 2nd place win. The two-day event hosted a mix of shooters with varied experience, including competitors from the Pro Series as well as shooters representing the Womens and Juniors Divisions. All 3GN members are eligible to shoot in 3-Gun Nation Regional events.
“The first-ever 3GN Regional match was a cross between an outlaw 3-gun and a Pro Series match,” said Garcia. “The match featured eight stages that were a good mix of both shooting and physical challenges. The Range Officers and event staff made the match a very enjoyable experience and I look forward to shooting the next Regional.”
“What impressed me was the diversity of the field, from first-time 3-gunners to guys like Keith Garcia, one of the best 3-gunners in the world,” said 3GN Club Series Director Charles Sole. “The staff was impressed with the level of sportsmanship from the entire field throughout this intense competition.”
