– Law Enforcement Targets has announced a new custom competition target designed for A Girl & A Gun Women’s Shooting League. The new target was designed in conjunction with A Girl & A Gun founder Julianna Crowder and will be featured at all league shooting events.
Crowder, who founded the “ladies only” shooting league to educate and encourage women about firearm usage, needed a way to standardize what targets are used across the growing organization which now spans 24 states with nearly 70 chapters.
“We promote the shooting sports and have a lot of participation in IDPA and USPSA. I wanted a target that is user friendly for someone wanting to practice either sport with scoring zones,” Crowder said.
Crowder approached Law Enforcement Targets about creating a custom branded target for the organization and worked with designers to add a little flare to the standard competition torso target.
“I also wanted the target to incorporate fun drills by using the colors, shapes and numbers,” Crowder said. “The person using the target can create her own drills, or we can design a course of fire and use that in our quarterly league matches.”
The A Girl & A Gun target is now available for sale to the general public on Law Enforcement Targets’ online store and will soon be available for sale on the shooting league’s website as well. A portion of all sales is donated to the organization.
Law Enforcement Targets will also be featured at A Girl & A Gun’s upcoming 2nd annual training conference to be held March 21 – 23 in Waco, Texas.
