During Baselworld 2014 in Switzerland last week, ArmourLite, LLC proudly unveiled its newly expanded lineup of world-class timepieces capable of meeting the demands of today’s first responders and extreme outdoor enthusiasts.
NEW Caliber Series Watches
ArmourLite expanded its line of Caliber Series lightweight polycarbonate tritium illuminated watches. First introduced at the 2014 SHOT Show in January, the Caliber Series timepieces feature ultra-lightweight polycarbonate case construction and an anti-reflective, scratch resistant sapphire crystal that’s sure to live up to the gritty, brute force demands of operators and outdoor extremists in every climb and place. Whether you’re a high-stakes first response operative, on the hunt in the Arctic Circle or knee deep in a 3-gun competition, you can depend on the rugged durability of your Caliber Series watch. These watches are powered by a Swiss Ronda 515 quartz movement and a 45-month battery. Green and orange self-luminous tritium-filled vials located on the hands, number markers and bezel provide 20+ years of continuous illumination in even the darkest of environments. A unidirectional rotating bezel with a tritium marker is ideal for keeping elapsed time. For the avid diver or outdoorsmen, the watches offer 200m of water resistance.
The Caliber Series’ extended lineup includes four color themes Black/White, Blue, Orange and Yellow and three different watch band material options. The AL601, AL602, AL603, and AL604 feature a nylon nato-based black band with color-themed stitching, the AL611, AL612, AL613, and AL614 feature a heavy duty black nitrile-butadiene-rubber (NBR) band and the AL611, AL612, AL613, and AL614 feature a black physical-vapor-deposition (PVD) stainless steel band. In all, the Caliber Series features twelve models priced from $299.00 to $375.00 (MSRP).
“We received a very positive reaction to the Caliber Series upon its introduction in January. We decided it was time to expand the line to offer customers more variety,” explains Ashley Diener, CEO of ArmourLite. “We find that our customers want choices when selecting a tritium illuminated watch and that’s what the Caliber Series now offers.”
