Video: Return of the Tactical Kilt

On April 1, 2012, the brains behind 5.11 Tactical decided it would be funny to prank the internet by announcing the production of a tactical kilt. The April Fools’ joke was well-received and laughs were had all around, until the company email was flooded with requests to make the kilt a reality. According to CEO Tom Davin, lead designer Cory Nykoluk said “why not?”

And thus one of the most hilarious pieces of tactical apparel was born: the Tactical Duty Kilt.

But the kilt was only available in sporadic, limited runs. This April 1, 5.11 announced the return of the Tactical Duty Kilt with a rather hilarious video.

And yes, there will be kilts in Realtree Xtra camo.
