We are bringing you a very unique edition of Northwestern Outdoors this weekend, coming at you from the Hawaiian Islands! That’s right, we’ll be broadcasting from Turtle Bay Resort on the North Shore of Oahu.
We’ll start off talking to Resort General Manager Danna Holck who will give you an overview of this fantastic getaway destination and tell you about the wide variety of outdoor activities available here. After that we head to the Hans Hedemann surf school at the resort and hit the waves with surf instructor Spencer Deavila. Once you’ve got the hang of surfing on the fabled North Shore Spencer will come back to let you know about some of the great hiking you can take advantage of on the Island of Oahu. If you would rather ride than walk we can help you with that too! We’ll be hitting the trail on horseback to explore the 800 plus acre resort property and Turtle Bay Stables Manager Alicia McCumbers will tell you all about how you can do this too!
