All-Star Walleye School Adds New Sponsor, Krugerfarms.com

Anglers looking to ramp up their walleye fishing knowledge and skill are in luck. Not only is the All-Star Walleye School back for year two, but KrugerFarms.com has joined on to sponsor the event. All school participants will receive a KrugerFarms.com gift card in their All-Star School Gift Pack, which includes a variety of items from the sponsors: Rapala, Ranger Boats, Dobyns Rods, and now KrugerFarms.com—in all a $400 value. KrugerFarms.com is known for quality, guide-recommended gear through a convenient online store. “We’re excited to help anglers build their skills through the All-Star Walleye School,” shared Don Nelson of KrugerFarms.com. “This is a quality school just like our gear—a perfect fit.”

Slated for Thursday, August 9th through Sunday August 12th on the spectacular walleye fishery in central Minnesota—Lake Mille Lacs, the school has added additional instructors for 2012. Students will spend two-and-a-half days in a game-changing experience with All-Star anglers like Mark Courts, Paul Meleen, Kevin McQuoid—and new to the All-Star lineup: Brian Brosdahl and Bill Shimota. Students will learn more in this close-knit setting than they can imagine; getting both on-the-water and indoor classroom time as well as time with five professional walleye anglers. Attendees will have plenty of chance to offer up very specific questions as well as drill-down on techniques that are on their list.

“This school is unique from the quality and caliber of the anglers presenting their knowledge,” shared Chip Leer, All-Star Walleye School host as well as emcee for the National Guard FLW Walleye Tour. “As the participants enroll they have a chance to answer questions about which techniques or tactics are most important for them—and that’s what we’ll cover. It’s customized for time on the water and in the classroom.”

The dual approach to hands-on and classroom skill building is an important component to this learning opportunity. “We really need both,” shared Mark Courts, truly an All-Star with over $375,000 in walleye tournament winnings. “We’ll cover fundamentals during the presentation classroom time, and then switch it up to practical application on the water. And all the little questions can come out at that time, in case someone might not want to ask in front of a room full of people.”

All-Star Kevin McQuoid, long-time guide on Mille Lacs and two-time FLW National Guard Walleye Tour Champion, will instruct again. “There’s plenty of time with five instructors to ask a question or talk about something specific to their home waters,” shared McQuoid, with over $280,000 in tournament winnings with FLW. “All of us instructors know each other well through the FLW—and we’ll each cover different things or have a different perspective or application. You’ll learn some key fundamentals and how each of us tweaks them based on the current conditions and dialing in to find fish.” The student-angler with the biggest fish during the on-the-water time with the pros will receive a co-angler spot in the 2013 National Guard FLW Walleye Tour season.

Held at McQuoid’s Inn on Mille Lacs, the All-Star Walleye School is destined to become a first-stop for any serious walleye angler wanting to ramp up their skills from the very best. Packages start at $700 and interested parties should contact Chip Leer at 218-547-4714 or e-mail: info@liddlemarketingcompany.com. Space is limited.
