“Treasures & Traditions, TV”, a new television series that celebrates America’s sporting heritage by discovering and appraising sporting art, antique firearms, vintage tackle, and other outdoor collectibles, welcomes Buck Knives and Henry Repeating Arms as Charter Sponsors.
“We are truly proud and excited to welcome two of the most iconic names in American sporting goods as Charter Sponsors of Treasures & Traditions, TV, announced Bob Delfay, Chief Executive Officer of the project. “Buck Knives and Henry Repeating Arms are two of the most recognized and respected names in the outdoor world and their participation will significantly add to the consumer appeal of our show. We are looking forward to a great partnership.”
“Treasures & Traditions, TV” will launch on Discovery’s Destination America Channel on June 21, featuring episodes filmed at the Cincinnati Hunting & Fishing Show and Northeast Fishing and Hunting Show in Hartford, Conn.
“The Buck Knives brand is one of the most collectible brands in the cutlery world. I felt strongly that Treasures & Traditions TV would be a natural fit for not only our brand but for our customers,” commented Bob George, Director of Sales and Marketing for Buck. “I think Treasures & Traditions is built on a highly promising and fun concept. The idea of inviting outdoor enthusiasts to bring their vintage firearms, fishing tackle, art—and knives—for free appraisal is bound to appeal to thousands. And based on the episodes I have seen so far, the stories and the interaction make for engaging television. Buck Knives is genuinely excited to be in on the ground floor of this show.”
“From the outdoor enthusiasts who participated in our first events in Cincinnati and Hartford to the representatives of Destination America, response to Treasures & Traditions has been extremely gratifying,” Delfay continued. “We are greatly encouraged and looking forward to filming a full schedule of shows across the country for 2015”.
