Fiocchi USA launches its third annual “Fiocchi Friends” photo contest when Wingshooting USA TV debuts this season’s new episodes on June 30. The good-natured competition is open to anyone who wants to submit a photo of their hunting dog.
“Many of the accompanying stories revealed how close bird hunters are to their four-footed companions,” said Wingshooting USA creator/host Scott Linden. Fans of the show submit their photos at Fiocchi USA’s Facebook page (FaceBook.com/Fiocchi.of.America) via a contest app.
Once submitted, entrants encourage voting for their photo and solicit new participants via the app. Some winners are chosen by number of votes, others by a Fiocchi committee. They will be announced in early November.
Last year’s contest attracted hundreds of photos of dozens of breeds (even a “hunting cat”), with many images worthy of a magazine cover. In fact, almost a dozen of the finalists’ photos were featured in the 2014 Fiocchi catalog. That incentive, Fiocchi gear, plus new prizes including a Mossberg shotgun and SportDOG Tek GPS collar, should generate a record number of entries, Linden added.
Fiocchi of America is based in Ozark, Missouri with sales offices in Boulder City, Nevada. Fiocchi manufactures a full line of handgun, long gun and shotgun ammunition for hunting, law enforcement, military and competition.
