Programming Marathon Airs July 4 and 5 Featuring IF4 Short Film, Mending the Line, and Season Three of FORCE on FORCE
World Fishing Network, the leading entertainment destination and digital resource for anglers throughout North America, presents Fish, Fireworks and Freedom this Independence Day weekend starting at 7:30 p.m. ET on Friday, July 4, with an encore presentation Saturday, July 5 at 12:30 p.m. ET.
World Fishing Network pays tribute to the troops with a remarkable documentary about a WWII veteran, followed by Season Three of FORCE on FORCE in its entirety. Fish, Fireworks and Freedom opens with Mending the Line , a profile on 90-year-old World War Two veteran and fly fishing legend, Frank Moore. This special, 30-minute short film was presented as part of the 2014 IF4 International Fly Film Festival and follows Frank as he retraces his steps through Normandy to fish the waters he first saw as a 21-year-old soldier on D-Day in 1944. It’s a gripping and emotional journey as Frank, reflecting back upon his life, feels compelled to return to the rivers of Normandy, this time armed not with a gun, but with a fly rod and reel. He is joined by his wife of 70 years, Jeanne, and his son, Frankie.

Teams of Army, Navy, Air Force and Marine Bass Anglers faceoff against each other to land the biggest catch and lay claim to annual bragging rights.
