FMG Recognizes Record Number of Sponsors for 12th Annual Shooting Industry Masters

FMG Publications is proud to announce the 12th Annual Shooting Industry Masters has reached a new milestone in Masters history. Sixty-five sponsors — a record number for the event — have signed on to support the 2014 industry-only match. The FMG team is incredibly thankful for the generous backing from the members across the industry.
“We’re overwhelmed and gratified by the amount of support this year’s Masters has received through both match sponsorship and raffle prize donations,” said Randy Molde, FMG Publications vice president of business development and Masters chairman. “We hope the end result generates even more visibility and positive impact for First Shots and the USA Shooting Team. The 65 sponsors understand the value of supporting this event and ultimately introducing new participants to the shooting sports. In the end, we all win.”
Each year, the Masters has steadily grown —with the 2013 Shooting Industry Masters breaking records to raise $81,250 for the shooting sports. Since 2008, the Masters has raised a total of $211,000 for NSSF’s First Shots program. The surge in participation also includes a record number of Platinum-level sponsors who raise the bar of commitment to this unique industry event.
“We don’t take for granted the tremendous support of our sponsors and the generosity of those who donate prizes for our fundraisers,” said Russ Thurman, Shooting Industry Magazine publisher/editor and Masters director. “We’re dedicated to raising money to support First Shots and USA Shooting, programs that are important to growing and enhancing the shooting sports. We salute all those who join us as part of the Masters as we celebrate our industry and its future growth.”
