In the arena of news, one headline making waves for the firearm enthusiast is new legislation affecting the Washington D.C. area to regain some ground for firearm rights in the nation’s capital. Read about it here. Politicians aside, you can help the effort by signing a petition on We The People that, if successful, could remove suppressors as an NFA regulated item. What does that mean for the average citizen? It could save the $200 tax stamp, as well as make owning and transporting one much less tricky.
On the gear side, the guys cover a variety of new goodies. One of the more exciting pieces of gear now for sale to the avid AR rifleman in the state of New York is a New York compliant AR variant by Adams Arms. Obviously, everyone should check state and local laws before purchasing any firearm or firearm related item, but it’s an exciting piece of machinery that lets citizens enjoy the AR platform in states less than friendly to it.
