Havalon Knives Releases New Surgical-Precision Hunting and Skinning Knife

Havalon Knives has released The Black Stag, the latest addition to its Piranta line of replaceable blade, surgical-precision folding knives. The Black Stag features a rugged, heavily-textured grip and the Havalon #60A blades, the longest-lasting, strongest and sharpest #60 blades available.
Havalon’s unique #60A blade is 20 percent thicker and 30 percent stronger than the standard #60 blade, while still delivering the famous Havalon “crazy-sharp” surgical edge. The #60A blade also features an “easy-off” safety tab to make blade removal easier.
“We expect customers to be excited about the extra rugged handle, and also to learn that the Stag accepts three sizes of blades: #60A, #60XT and #22XT,” said Paul Schwartz, division sales manager.
The Black Stag, like all Piranta knives, is extremely light in the pack, weighing only 1.9 ounces. The Stag features a rugged fiberglass reinforced nylon handle. Blade length is 2-3/4” while overall length is 7-3/8.” The Stag offers an open back for easy cleaning, ambidextrous thumb studs, liner lock, removable pocket clip and six additional #60A blades.
