Breast Cancer Awareness Month recognized with Corporate Giving and Customer Awareness Campaign
Every two minutes a woman is diagnosed with breast cancer in the U.S. Roughly 230,000 women will be diagnosed with the condition this year. Nearly 40,000 will die. Plano Synergy cares, wants to stop that trend, and is taking an active role in bringing awareness to this all-too-common and detectable disease.
“Plano Synergy is happy to align with our customers this month to bring awareness to breast cancer and the effects it has globally,” says Plano Synergy VP of Marketing Pete Angle.
In an effort to trumpet October’s Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Plano Synergy is hosting a company-wide “Pink Out” on October 24th to raise funds for Casting for Recovery – a unique program combining breast cancer education and peer support with the therapeutic sport of fly fishing – and the National Breast Cancer Foundation. Plano Synergy challenges the outdoor community to be equally as vigilant this month.
Beyond raising funds at a corporate level, Plano Synergy is keeping the topic front and center with hunters and anglers by launching a month-long promotion. “Many of us have been affected by breast cancer directly and indirectly,” says Director of Marketing Ben Rand. “It is our goal to continue to bring awareness by offering a prize giveaway every day this month starting on Monday, October 6th. Prizes will range across nearly all of our market-leading brands.”
To enter, simply ‘Like’ Plano Synergy on Facebook. While keeping Breast Cancer Awareness Month top of mind, Plano Synergy will be giving away over $5,000 in prizes, to include:
- Tenzing TZ 1250W Women’s Case
- Barnett – Lady Raptor FX
- Plano – Pink Bow Case
- Frabill – Freya 24” Rod and Reel Combo
- Plano – Elite System Bag
- Wildgame Innovations – Sugar Beet Crush & Buck Commander Nano 8 Game Camera
- Caboodles – Travel Bag Set
