Video: Did This Camera Record a “Bigfoot Family” Hunting Bison?

A video uploaded to YouTube is making waves online after some viewers claimed to see the mythical “Bigfoot”—or even a pack of the cryptids—stalking a group of bison. According to the Casper Star-Tribune, the video was first uploaded by YouTube user Mary Greeley, who claims the footage was taken by a camera in Yellowstone National Park. The recording starts off uneventfully with a small herd of bison approaching a geyser, but late into the video, four human-shaped figures suddenly appear from behind the treeline.
“Would you risk death by buffalo to pull off a Bigfoot hoax? In this clip we see four big, furry somethings (Bigfoot) stalking four buffalo in Yellowstone National Park,” wrote Bigfoot aficionado ThinkerThunker in his analysis of the YouTube video.
Some viewers speculated that the humanoid shapes were just park employees or skiers, but others argue that the dimensions of the shadowy figures were too different. Upon evaluation of the video, some commented that the appearance of the figures seem to be a trick of the camera, and that only one man-sized shape was wandering through the trees.
Yellowstone National Park spokesperson Al Nash talked briefly about the video, but did not specify any details or where the recording came from.
“Bigfoot sightings are not frequent, but it happens. People say a lot of crazy things about Yellowstone all the time and Bigfoot is just one of them,” Nash told KTMF News.
