Video: Sugar Bob, the Weed-eating Deer, Makes Appearance on ‘The Daily Show’

Late last year we wrote a story on Sugar Bob, a deer in Oregon’s Applegate Valley that rose to fame for its habit of eating marijuana leaves. While it is still debatable whether or not deer can get high off eating marijuana, it seems that some veterinarians agree that the plant offers pets good nutrition (if at a high price). Richard Davis, the owner of both Sugar Bob and a medicinal marijuana farm, doesn’t mind sharing either. In fact, Davis would often feed Sugar Bob by hand or let the deer sniff entire bags of buds.
That kind of treatment got Davis a visit from The Daily Show correspondent Hasan Minhaj, who satirically portrayed Davis as a drug kingpin and Sugar Bob as his hapless victim. This skit is definitely worth a watch, especially if you like Scarface references.
