Video: Ever Wonder What a Kodiak Bear Cub Looks Like?

Unless you live near the Kodiak Archipelago or work in a zoo, there are few few chances for the average person to spot a Kodiak bear cub. Tied for the largest bear subspecies in the world (along with the polar bear), Kodiak bears are among the most powerful predators not only in North America, but on planet earth. As cubs though, they really don’t have the same intimidation factor.

These three bear cubs were born to a female Kodiak bear in Space Farms Zoo & Museum in New Jersey. At about six weeks old, the cubs will soon begin venturing outside of mom’s artificial den. For now though, they seem content to linger within the warm enclosure and nap, as well as scrounge the occasional ice cream treat.
