Four District Birding Days Scheduled in Nebraska

Birders of all experience levels are invited to attend any of the four birding events being put on by the Nebraska Game and Parks Commission this spring.

The annual District Birding Days allow the public to spend the day birding with Game and Parks employees and other resource professionals in each of the agency’s four districts.

The schedule:

Southeast District – May 8 at Rock Creek Station Historical Park. Contact Michele Fuhrer Hurt at 402-433-5077 or michele.fuhrer-hurt@nebraska.gov.

Southwest District – May 16, Pressey Wildlife Management Area. Contact T.J. Walker at 308-535-8025 or thomas.walker@nebraska.gov.
