Video: Mountain Lion Hazard Blocks 18th Hole on Golf Course

Mountain lions may have a reputation for being powerful predators, but they have a playful side as well. Golfers at the Desert Mountain Golf Course in Arizona just had to wait while this big cat had its way with the flag on the 18th hole of the Chiricahua Course.

Seemingly fascinated by the flag, the mountain lion tries everything in its power to bring it down. In fact, it reminds us of a house cat. A very, very large house cat with razor-sharp claws and teeth.

From the respectable distance they kept from the cat, we’re sure these golfers didn’t mind waiting before finishing their game.
