We can’t think of a wild animal we’d like to massage less than an opossum, especially if they’re wet. Okay, so bears and a few others may also make that list, but still, giving one of these critters a rubdown doesn’t seem like a good idea. Unless, of course, you happen to have one for a pet.

Under the right conditions opossums can be loyal—and clean—companions. However, it takes a lot of work and under no circumstances should you ever try to domesticate a wild one. The last thing anybody needs is another thing scratching up the furniture and leaving “presents” everywhere.
