It’s that time of year again, and while everyone else is dreading the approaching of winter cold, ice fishing enthusiasts are already unpacking their gear. To help get you in the mood for another season, here is a DIY ice shack project that you can do right in your garage. The guys over at Brojects made this portable ice shack out of an old road sign, but you could easily substitute other materials for the base. It’s easy-to-assemble nature means that this ice shack can be carted around on the back of a snowmobile and is small enough to fit on the back of a pickup.
The brothers at Brojects may not know much about ice fishing, but they sure know a lot about building portable shelters. See if this one is something you would want out at your lake this winter.
