Cabela’s Launches New Shooting Sports Microsite

Cabela’s recently launched the Shooting Park, a new microsite dedicated to shooting sports and firearm safety. The website offers a wide array of educational and informative material, such as understanding shooting-angle compensation, the basics of USPSA competition, and a news section for the latest happenings and events in the recreational shooting world.
“Cabela’s Shooting Park is an online community that supports your passion and helps you learn responsible gun ownership while you’re having fun. Join the community for articles, videos, tips and tricks to hone yours skills, challenge yourself and to make your next target-shooting session an absolute blast!” said Cabela’s.
The website offers tips on responsible gun ownership, gear reviews and maintenance advice, as well as a weekly newsletter. With the launch of Shooting Park, Cabela’s is also running the Aim Small Win Big Sweepstakes, offering prize packages including firearms, ammunition, a lifetime membership in the NRA, and additional accessories. The prize package for February includes a Savage Mod A17 in 17HMR with scope, a NRA membership, 200 rounds of 17HMR ammo, and a long list of accessories. To enter, participants will have to print out an official sweepstakes paper target, shoot it, and then share the photo on Instagram or Twitter. Only legal residents of the United States 21 or over can apply.
Cabela’s is also holding its 2nd Amendment Classic Sale with deals on firearms, range gear, optics and more. The sale is a chance for the company to showcase new firearms and merchandise introduced at the 2016 SHOT Show in Las Vegas, and many existing gear has been drastically marked down. The sale runs from February 11 to 21.
