Video: Here’s What Happens When You Microwave Ammo

Destructive testing is pretty fun even if it does not replicate any real world scenarios.

Under normal circumstances 22LR ammo would never make it into a microwave, but thanks to our friend Mattv2099 we get to see exactly that. Due to the arcing on the brass the .22 cartridges were rapidly heated up. Many of the rounds were actually heated to the point of ignition inside of the microwave.

This is just one of those things we are happy someone else could figure out for us.
