Ball Python Unable to Move on Fleece Blanket 

This snake is going nowhere fast.

Synthetic Fleece blankets owe their popularity to their incredibly soft texture. That same soft texture also causes issues for some snakes. In this video a ball python is learning how to slither across a fleece blanket with limited success. Instead of gripping the blanket with its slithering body, the snake was just “moon walking.” The slick fleece surface created an impassable surface for the snake and an entertaining video for us.
